What to get ready

  • Photograph of Flour Flour 4.2 oz
  • Photograph of Unsalted butter Unsalted butter 3.5 oz
  • Photograph of Chicken eggs Chicken eggs 4
  • Photograph of Fresh milk Fresh milk 1 cups
  • Photograph of Dark chocolate Dark chocolate 4.2 oz

Method

  1. 1 Bring the fresh milk, water, unsalted butter, and salt to a boil, then add the flour and stir vigorously for 2 minutes.
  2. 2 Let it cool for 5 minutes, then beat in the egg until the batter is smooth and glossy. Pipe the batter into round balls and place them on a baking tray.
  3. 3 Bake at 190°C for 28 minutes, or until the bread is puffed up, golden brown, and dry inside. Let cool completely.
  4. 4 Whip the fresh cream with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy, then pipe it into the cake batter.
  5. 5 Melt the dark chocolate with a little fresh cream over low heat for 3 minutes until it becomes a smooth, creamy sauce.
  6. 6 Arrange the cakes on a plate, pour hot chocolate sauce over them, and serve immediately.

With an appliance

  • Air fryer 1 hr 36 min

Replace step 3: spray the tray with oil, run the hot air oven at 200 degrees for 17 minutes and rotate the tray after 9 minutes; the cream puffs will brown faster (11 minutes), so they must be spaced out and baked in multiple batches.
