  • Photograph of Fresh cream Fresh cream 1 ⅓ cups

  • Photograph of Sugar Sugar 5.6 oz
  • Photograph of Roasted soybean powder Roasted soybean powder 2.8 oz

Method

  1. 1 Mix fresh milk with condensed milk and cream, then pour into trays and freeze for 8 hours.
  2. 2 The unique feature of shaved ice bingsu is that it freezes milk instead of water; the water creates the coarser ice cubes, while the milk provides a smooth, fluffy texture.
  3. 3 Use a food processor or a scraper to scrape the curdled milk into a thin, snow-like layer.
  4. 4 The milk snow is piled high in the chilled bowl; the snow will melt immediately if the bowl warms up.
  5. 5 Arrange diced ripe mangoes and diced mochi around the pile of snow.
  6. 6 Sprinkle with roasted soybean powder and puffed rice, then drizzle with condensed milk and serve immediately.
