Method

  1. 1 Boil 250 ml of water in an earthenware pot with a cinnamon stick and cloves for 5 minutes.
  2. 2 Add the palm sugar, stir until dissolved, then simmer for another 3 minutes.
  3. 3 Add the orange peels and turn off the heat, let it steep for 2 minutes to release the aroma.
  4. 4 Put the ground coffee into the pot, stir gently, then cover and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Strain the mixture through a sieve, then pour it into an earthenware cup and drink it hot.

With an appliance

  • Microwave 17 min

    Replace steps 1 and 2: swirl the water, cinnamon, and cloves in a heat-resistant pot at 800W for 4 minutes, add the palm sugar, and swirl for another minute. Keep steps 3 to 5 the same and loosely cover the pot to prevent the coffee from overflowing.
