Bitter Herbal Tea

What to get ready

• Dried bitter tea leaves 20 g
• Rock sugar 60 g
• Ginger 20 g

Method

1. 1 Quickly rinse the dried bitter tea leaves with warm water to remove any dust.
2. 2 Rinse the teapot with boiling water, then add the tea leaves.
3. 3 Pour boiling water over the leaves until they are completely submerged, then steep for 10 minutes to extract all the beneficial substances.
4. 4 Add a few thin slices of ginger to reduce the bitter taste.
5. 5 Add rock sugar until dissolved, then pour into a cup and drink hot.

With an appliance

• Microwave 17 min

  Replace step 3: Heat the water in the glass teapot at 800W for 3 minutes until it boils vigorously, then immediately pour it over the tea leaves and let it steep for 10 minutes. Do not put the metal teapot in the microwave; keep steps 4 and 5 as is.
