What to get ready

  • Photograph of Soft tofu Soft tofu 480 g
  • Photograph of Pork Pork 400 g
  • Photograph of Glass noodles Glass noodles 120 g
  • Photograph of Chinese cabbage Chinese cabbage 240 g
  • Photograph of Spring onion Spring onion 80 g

Method

  1. 1 Mix minced pork with pepper, soy sauce, and crushed coriander roots, then roll into small balls.
  2. 2 Sauté the garlic until golden brown and fragrant, then remove and set aside to make garlic oil for garnish.
  3. 3 Bring the broth to a boil, then add the meatballs and cook until they float to the surface.
  4. 4 Add the soaked vermicelli, soft tofu, and Chinese cabbage and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. 5 Season with soy sauce, sprinkle with chopped scallions and fried garlic; this soup is eaten to balance the spiciness of other dishes.

With an appliance

  • Microwave 25 min

Replace step 3: put the broth and meatballs into a deep bowl with a steam vent, microwave at 900 W for 5 minutes; step 4 continues cooking on the stovetop for 3 minutes to prevent the noodles and tofu from overcooking.
