What to get ready

  • Photograph of Flour Flour 1.6 lb
  • Photograph of Ghee Ghee 1.1 lb
  • Photograph of Powdered sugar Powdered sugar 12.7 oz
  • Photograph of Sliced almonds Sliced almonds 4.2 oz
  • Photograph of Vanilla Vanilla 1 ⅓ tbsp
  • Photograph of Salt Salt 0.1 oz

Method

  1. 1 Melt the ghee and let it cool until it becomes cloudy and creamy.
  2. 2 Beat the ghee with powdered sugar for 12 minutes until fluffy and white like cotton.
  3. 3 Sift in the flour and mix gently with a wooden spoon; do not knead.
  4. 4 This cake only has three ingredients and must remain white; anything yellowish means it's overbaked.
  5. 5 Roll the mixture into balls, press an almond in the center, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. 6 Bake at 150 degrees for 15 minutes, then let cool completely on the tray because the cake is very fragile.
